Watching old films makes us lust over the wardrobes as much as the leading men. 40's film star Gene Tierney is our fashion crush this weekend. In classic noir film Leave Her to Heaven she is both beautiful and dangerous, just how we like our leading ladies. This look speaks for itself, sleek with beautiful lines, its sexed up with a little hint of midriff. Will take the the top and skirt as seperates please, take me to my tailor!

Time for Tea

So this Sunday with wooden spoon in hand we approached the oven gently and whipped up a frenzy to create our very own Bagley and Bond Cake Pops !!! We like an unusual, creative approach to most things in life so creating mini cake truffles on sticks?  why the bloody hell not! Warning NUDITY below.... the pops in the first stage..

A space age first effort !

 
Whilst in the cake zone, we created these dainty mini victoria sponges with fresh cream and raspberries, perfect accessory to a sunny afternoon spent in a 50's tea dress.

We like men too

Picked up this dapper men's jacket this week.. perfect for Spring...38ins chest, so a medium cut.

 

Double breasted with feature leather covered buttons,  faux fur on the collar. Lightweight, with a satin quilted lining, its warm enough for chilly spring and is water resistant too. Shades of teddy boy and 60's style...a bit Terrence Stamp strutting about Soho.
